Day 1-LOCAL MARKET+ HIDDEN TEMPLES IN THE JUNGLE ( Koh Ker&Beng Mealea )
*In the morning: After breakfast, 7:30 am, we will come to pick up you from hotel and going to buy Angkor Pass before we are taking you to visit local market calls Roluos market then continue to Koh Ker which is located 120 kilometers from Siem Reap downtown. It is an archaeological site, with forty temples and a reservoir were built by empire Khmer King Jayavarman lV who was usurper, ruled the country from 928 to 941. Koh Ker is dominated by Prasat Thom, Prasat Linga, Prasat Prum and Prast Neang Kmau. Among those, the most beautiful is PRASAT THOM which represents the sacred mountain of Hindu mythology. The giant pyramid temple has seven tiers and 36 meter base. Then, we are taking a break for lunch at local restaurant.
*In the Afternoon: After lunch, continue to visit Beng Mealea which never does the restoration with nature took its course. The whole site has been overrun by plants. Trees grow out of stone, vines are wrapped around gateways, and roots have stretched through walls.
*Evenin g Activities:We would like to recommend you to enjoy the buffet dinner and traditional shows ( 12$ per person. but not including soft drinks ). Please let us know if you are interested, then we can help to book the better seats for you.
Day 2-SUNRISE Over ANGKOR WAT+ MAIN TEMPLES IN ANGKOR
*in the morning: we will come to pick up you from hotel at 4:45 am, and then taking to watch sunrise over the temple of Angkor Wat, then exploring the main parts of Angkor Wat. After the tour, we will find a good place for you to have your breakfast before we are going to next temples such as Angkor Thom. Pass through the South Gate and tour the interior: Bayon, Baphuon, King Palace area, Phimean Akas, Terrace of Leper King, and Elephant Terrace, then Ta Prohm which is in the movie of tomb raider. And then, we are taking a break for lunch at local restaurant in Angkor Park. Please ask your hotel to pack breakfast for you.
*In the afternoon: After lunch, we will drive you through countryside to the Lady temple calls Banteay Srei is known as the most beautiful yellow and pinkish sandstone temple in the world.
*Evening Activities: We would like to recommend you to enjoy Phare, Cambodian Circus which starts from 8:00 pm to 9:00 Pm.. ( Tip: This was incredibly fun, but opens seating view is partially obstructed. Worth paying more for center seats.). Please let us know if you are interested in Cambodian Circus when you here. - Do not climb on the structures and sit on the balustrade. They are often unstable.
- Angkor World Heritage Site is a sacred area. Please respect this cultural site by wearing properly dresses at all the times ( bear shoulders and shorts are in appropriate). You are not allowed to use scarfs to cover on the top of bear shoulders and shorts as well.
- Do not eat or bring drinks to the temples and the surrounding areas.
- Do not smoke inside the temples
- Do not touch the bas-reliefs, sculptures and write graffiti on stone or trees.
