About this trip

Visit Angkor Wat complexe, the Unesco World Heritage Site, which is one of the most important archaeological site in South-east Asia built by the great Khmer King Soriyavaraman II in the early on 12th century and dedicated to Vishnu God Hindu religion.

Embark for a four-day private tour to discover and explore the magnificent and enigmatic Angkor Wat temples, Banteay Srey’s hidden gems and Siem Reap area including Kompong Phluk floating village on the TonLe Sap lake.

Let our English-speaking guide leads to discover fascinating historical facts and anecdote about the ancient temples while you will end your day tour admiring the sunset over Angkor Wat and all surrounding temples.

This four-day tour is a great combination of temples, countryside and culture reflection of the Cambodian lifestyle.

Itinerary

Day 1: Discover Angkor Temples

Begin pick up at 8:30AM from your hotel by our local guide (please make sure you provide your hotel information at time of booking).You will head to the south gate of Angkor Thom followed by the Angkor Thom (comprises of renowned Bayon Temples which was made up of 54 towers and 216 faces of Buddhisatva Avalokesvara). Pass by the Terrace of Elephant, Royal Palace Phimeanakas. Continue to visit Ta Prohm Temple, known as the “jungle temple” or“tree temple” referring to the lush trees surrounding the temple’s stones. You will spend the afternoon to discover Banteay Kdei temple which was built by the King Jayavarman VII.

Afternoon: Visit Angkor Wat which is one of the most important archaeological site in South-east Asia which was built by the great Khmer King Soriyavaraman II in the early on 12th century dedicated to Vishnu God Hindu religion.

You will be dropped back at your hotel in Siem Reap.

Day 2: Banteay Srey & Kbal Spean

On the next day, around 9:00AM, after enjoy breakfast at your hotel, our tour guide will lead you to Bantey Srey temple, located around one hour drive from Siem Reap. You will pursue your visit to Kbal Spean Waterfall and the river of 1000 lingas. Kbal Spean Waterfall displays stunning carvings under the water representing Vishnu and Brahma Gods. After lunch, back to the main Angkor Wat complex to visit the East Mebon temple, Neak Pean, and Preah Khan (sacred sword) which is a huge, highly explorative monastic complex.

You will be dropped back at your hotel in Siem Reap.

Day 3: Beng Mealea & Bakong Temple

Our tour guide will pick you up at your hotel around 8:00AM direction Beng Melea temple. Located around 70 kilometers north-east Siem Reap, Beng Melea is named as “the lost temple of Angkor”.You will head to three temples, Bakong, Lolei and Preah Ko which comprises the Roluos group.

You will be dropped back at your hotel in Siem Reap.

Day 4: Explore Tonle Sap Lake

On the next day, direction to the great TonLe Sap lake (the biggest fresh water lake in South-east Asia) which will give you a fascinating insight of the real Cambodian life. Drive may takes around 45 minutes from Siem Reap.

You will be invited to ride on a private boat leading to floating village of Kompong Phluk (traditional Khmer floating Village located 30km from Siem Reap).The afternoon time will be dedicated to visit the Angkor National Museum and Artisan D'Angkor in Siem Reap city.

A visit to the old market will conclude this three-day tour around Siem Reap province.

Please note:
All guests need to wear appropriate clothing around the temples. You will need to have your shoulders and knees covered. Cambodia is also a very hot and humid country, so please wear some light cotton clothing. The winter months (Nov – Feb) are a bit cooler, but it can still get very hot in the afternoons.
